Lately: Winner Winner Turkey Dinner
…It’s really obvious, the careful consideration for existing conditions. The finishes are so sophisticated and appropriate for the era, while remaining modern.”
-MADA Judges
Every two years, the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Mid America Chapter honors the exceptional quality of design work through the Mid-America Design Awards in our region. We were absolutely thrilled last month to be awarded in the Renovation/Restoration category with our submission of Vintage Vibe, a Prairie Village Drummond home you may remember reading about here.
Around the Table
As we take a break this week to pause, come together, and give thanks, we thought we’d take a trip into the archives for some favorite table moments here at Lisa Schmitz Interior Design:
Above, a custom chandelier made up of 56 suspended slender, black stainless steel cylinders creates soft points of light, shielded from glare, to produce calm, even illumination on the dining table at Hawk Heights.
Below, the dining room at City Haven is all set, awaiting guests for a memorable gathering.
Finally, the walnut slab table and woven pendant lights set the scene for a sophisticated, handcrafted meal at Hearth and Stone.
We are grateful for you today and every day. Wishing you a beautiful Thanksgiving.
