Hey there! Happy Throwback Thursday, also cold and semi snowy day in Kansas City. Burr.
A bit of behind the scenes shots of previous projects, describing a bit of our process. We may be slightly detail oriented. Just maybe. Here are a few examples! Above is a mock up of beautiful dome glass wall sconces randomly floating on a future mirror in this powder room located in the Crossroads Arts District. Below is a close-up of the lights. Sometimes, or often, we hear…“You want to do what?” from our installers. Then with impeccable detail they make it happen! Huge shout out to Schmitz Remodeling crew, the installation guru’s for their fine craft and patience!
When renovating master suites in older homes, we are determined to get a layout that benefits the clients lifestyle. A master bath should be a retreat, with function as a priority. These mirrors are framed in black steel and on steel poles that conceal the electrical. They float in front of the window, illuminate with linear lights that are oh-so-flattering for viewing oneself, and they slightly rotate. Tucked in the wall is a medicine cabinet that aligns horizontally with the mirror, of course!
These dining chairs have a beautiful embroidered fabric on the back and soft linen on the front. The legs were custom stained to coordinate with the wall color.
That’s it for today. It’s nearly happy hour, isn’t it?! Here’s to a hot toddy with this chilly day!
