FAQs
What services do you offer?
Our preferred projects are full-service renovations, or new builds, that allow for a wholistic design process including interior architecture, interior design and finish selections as well as furniture and fixture selection and procurement. We would like to be involved from conception to completion – from mood board to move in!
Do you work with contractors, architects, or other professionals?
Yes, we work with all these professionals on our projects. We can work with a team that you have already selected or assist you in finding the right team for your project.
When should an interior design team be brought on board?
Preferably before the space is laid out or designed. By bringing the design team in early, it allows for the optimal space planning by considering the project needs and goals.
How do you charge for your services?
We charge hourly, with a variety of rates depending on the team member. Each project is very different so we will create a proposal for your project once we’ve worked through the scope of what is needed.
How long does a project take?
Each project is unique and there are so many factors that affect timeline. We suggest reaching out at least six months before construction is set to begin.
Do I have to do my space all at once?
While we think this is the most cost-effective way to produce a project, we understand that there are many reasons that projects might need to be done in stages. We are prepared to assist you in either process.
How involved are clients in the design process?
The whole project will be a collaborative process beginning with understanding your wants and needs. We will continue to refine the project throughout the duration of the work.
Do you handle purchasing and installation?
Yes, we will purchase all of the items that we specify and follow the process through until they are installed.
Can you work with existing furniture and artwork or specific needs/constraints?
Of course! Our goal is to create a beautiful, timeless space that is exclusively yours and reflects the way you live.
Do you work with clients outside of Kansas City?
Absolutely! We’ve worked on projects from California to Florida, and can easily work on projects remotely.
