Anna Stevens
Interior DesignerAnna Stevens is a dreamer and a doer. Born in Iowa, she grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and Northern Virginia, where she cultivated a love for art, design and changing the world. She attended college just outside of D.C., majoring in government and international politics with a concentration in American politics. After graduation she pivoted to artistic pursuits and moved to New York City. She worked in public relations within the fashion world and then as a studio manager for designer Tanya Taylor.
Her passion has always been creative expression, so when the pandemic shut down her office indefinitely in NYC, she had time to reevaluate how to best make an impact. She visited her partner in Kansas City and never left. Anna returned to school, intensively studying interior design and software, making the Dean’s List each semester.
Anna’s interest in design extends to historical architecture and the stories behind the structures. She’s passionate about urbanism and supporting local businesses. She is a pet parent to Archie, a lab hound mix and Charlotte, a Snowshoe cat. She dreams of having a small farm and growing her own food. Fun facts: she can recite Pi to 25 digits and as a child played in state and national chess tournaments. When she’s not working, you’ll find Anna taking photos, antiquing, enjoying local restaurants, visiting farmers’ markets, doing crosswords or listening to Taylor Swift.
