Michal Lauren Hunt

A Midwest kid with a vivid imagination, Michal grew up fully immersed in technicolor daydreams that felt more real than imaginary. Over time, she channeled this visionary talent through various creative expressions (including an obsessive scrapbooking habit) and eventually pursued Environmental Design at Mizzou to develop her fascination between physical environments and their impact on everyday lives.

After earning her design degree, Michal migrated to Minneapolis with her long-time-friend-turned-husband, and began a 15 year career working at world-renowned architectural firms on large-scaled projects, many that pioneered advances in sustainability.  The whirlwind of 2020 and arrival of her third child redirected her passion for creating positive impact from corporate workplaces to more intimately scaled spaces…the home. 

Michal believes our homes are incubators for thriving, and she loves helping people rethink  both their spaces and their relationship with “home.” Off-duty, you’ll find her in full-on “Mama Mode” with her three littles, tending to houseplants, learning something new or sneaking in a quiet moment outside with coffee in hand.
