A year in the life of a well designed home

Furniture, textiles, custom pieces, and art breathe life into the architecture. We curate furnishings that balance comfort and character, blending personal collections with new pieces to create a layered, meaningful home. These selections require long lead times, which is why planning them early, sometimes even before construction begins, is essential.

Some spaces call for pieces that simply don’t exist off the shelf. Above, at Brickside, a former outdoor porch was transformed into a sunroom dining area, with a built-in banquette and custom table shaped specifically for the room. At Poolside Cool wood-and-velvet bed was similarly designed from scratch, balancing material, proportion, and comfort down to the smallest detail.
The result is furniture that feels less added to the architecture than born from it: purpose-built, personal, and exactly right for its place.
