LSID Editorial Series: Inside the Timeline
A year in the life of a well designed home
The Details You Never See (But Always Feel)

Behind every timeless interior is an enormous amount of coordination: drawings, specifications, elevations, and details that guide every trade. This phase is invisible to most clients, yet it’s where mistakes are prevented and craftsmanship is elevated. Our drawings speak clearly to contractors, ensuring your vision is executed accurately and consistently.

At #FLW, there were several moving parts to getting the detail on how the small ceramic tile interacted with the shower glass, vanity countertop, pony wall, concrete floor, and the cypress wall. By documenting each intersection so thoroughly, every trade had a clear understanding of the design intent, allowing each element to be installed seamlessly while preserving the full 2×2 tile module and avoiding unnecessary cuts.
Check back next month for a look into next project phase, The Art of the Build.
